Your registration numbers, typed once
Every gas record has to carry your business Gas Safe number and the engineer's licence number, so you set them once, in Settings and on the engineer's profile, and every certificate carries them from then on. I also hold the expiry date off the engineer's Gas Safe ID card. A card is renewed each year and the number changes with it, so I will not let a certificate be approved under a licence that has run out. Working with oil too? Your OFTEC registration and technician numbers sit alongside them, and those never block a certificate, because oil is not licensed the way gas is.
